Dead guy may not have had permission to be on the property.
Dead guy may have been trespassing and ducked down to hide.
Shooter was with her boyfriend and had permission to hunt the property.
Shooter and boyfriend did not know the dead guy.

Depends on the model, but it sounds like it had to be something fairly cheap not to be able to distinguish between a man an a hog.

It will be interesting if it does an LE pulls the data an finds the man standing not crawling around as said.

You called it, entire thing caught on SD card just like you said.

LEO verified he was on all 4's

It was my bill that made it legal to use thermal imaging devices, stupid.

Those Atn scopes require constant focusing if distance changes even 20 yards. Even then they are fuzzy. A man on all 4s in tall grass could absolutely look like a hog. Still no excuse.

Stupid gay communist crap should be banned from being sold in the US.

I can think of numerous ITAR violations they commit on any given day.

To boot some poor schmuck wants to get into the dark game an sees where he, or she I guess can save several thousand an they buy the cheap way out only to have buyers remorse.

They have a terrific advertisement department I will give them that! That is about all they have.
    Yup, he's crazy...

like a fox. The dude may be coming in a little too hard and crazy but 90% of everything he says is correct.

Sort of like Toof. But way smarter.

My bill allowed night vision, infra-red, rifles from a 10 ft elevation from Feb-July. Not sure if I consulted with God since it was not a moral issue.

IMO- this night hunting is going to be a problem in the years to come. Too many People riding around with cheap night vision shooting animals in fields with houses, livestock, and people in harms way.

I wonder if this property was "registered" with the DNR for night hunting?
