WC Russell Moccasin Co
Found a pair of, what I believe to be, fairly old Russell lace ups on EBay. They are coated in polish and really stiff. Started with some saddle soap tonight to try and start cleaning them up and restoring to their former glory. Any of you internet geniuses have any pointers on leather restoration? This is my second pair...first pair was brand new and custom fit. These boots were made to last!

This. I have a pair of 20 year old turkey hunters that I failed to maintain for 10 years. Sent them to Russell and they soaked them for a week in something and sent them back with new soles in great shape. If it has too much polish on the outside, you can use steam to break it down, then use the Obenhaufs. Just re-did all my Russell's two weeks ago.
Anyone care to share what new soles cost when you send them back? MG
