Let it be known, while I do share these pictures and talk about deer getting passed often, I am not a holier than thou deer hunter. I have plenty of other properties that I would kill every single one of the bucks I have posted and not think twice about his age or score. And I do not give a crap what someone else shoots either. Down there it's different though, and while it can be tough to pass some of these deer, the hunting overall is pretty incredible. And there is a legit chance the buck of a lifetime is about to step out.

So going to buck tags wasn't about increasing the deer numbers. It was all about growing big bucks.
I knew it wouldn't take long for the buck tag crowd to start agreeing with the ones that knew the real reasoning for it all along.

Nice buck indeed. When you have enough land and people on same plan you can have these size bucks with or without tags.
    Congrats again on your buck.

This is prime example all it takes is trigger control and hunters on same page.

Stripping the velvet means way more than just getting a buck in the book. It would misrepresent the whole nature of the deer dying.
