    Default Passion in 100ft

Had a great day on the water with b35w and his buddy Ben. After a couple of days to reflect I've made a note of these highs and lows.
    HIGHS:
    Rideout at 30kt
    Stud black sea bass
    Found the Triggerfish Promised Land
Amberjack bycatch was at a minimum
The pair of fishing pliers I brought with me
Stud red snapper on a free line wire Kingfish rig (vented)
    Natty Lights
Triggers two at a time on a 4000 Shimano.

    LOWS:
Bobby stopping up the toilet at Edisto Seafood.
One set of numbers pulling a Houdini and disappearing off the bottom.
My set of pliers was the only one on the boat
    I can't count to 21. (3 seabass limits)

It was a beautiful day and a fun time. Thanks again Bobby.

You should feel privileged, Bobby doesn't let just anybody on his boat. Not even me! lol But that's ok, I've still got those big bucks tied up that he's been chasing.

You crazy. I welcome anybody on my boat who wants to go. Even if they do keep the best hunting spots on the club a secret.

My takeaways from the trip are:

Yes I need a new set of pliers

Edisto Seafood needs to invest in a plunger

Couple of my live bottom spots aren't alive anymore

Your shirt looks like you spray farted on it when your done fishing

Plain old Dexter Russell took care of it pretty good and quicklike.

I just puncture them behind the gill and make a 2-3 in slit through both sides. Makes easy work of them

My takeaways from the trip were:

Trolling motor auto pilot is the ticket
Bobby needs pliers for his boat
Throwing back big Red Snapper sucks

Calm seas and tight lines made a great day. Bobby put us on fish but even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes

I love trigger fish and BSB filets almost as much as I enjoy catching them.

Want to try a few of my numbers this coming Tuesday?

Let me look at the schedule. I wish they'd make a decision on Snapper this week. If I can swing it I'll let you know
