Have you checked to see if you can use the can in the state you are to, not all states allow cans for hunting.

Chose not to get the adjustable cheek piece from McMillan because of the extra weight. I mean why buy a carbon fiber stock and add approximately a pound or more of weight.

Had a vision in my head how to make one and definitely didn’t won’t to drill holes in my new stock. So I ordered some Kydex and heavy duty Velcro, got the heat gun out and presto.......

Actually came out better than I envisioned for sturdiness. It’s actually a PITA to get on and adjusted, but once it’s there; it’s there! Rock solid, bitch ain’t moovin!

Re-zeroed and ready to go play at the range.

    PS, patent pending......

I have also always wondered why anyone would buy a carbon stock and then add a pound or more worth of and adjustable cheek piece. Solid work on the Kydex

I had someone trying to sell me on that same stock a month ago. I'm still kicking back and forth between that and the McMillan HTG. Can't decide if I want the ergonomic/vertical pistol grip or the more standard sporting look.

Nice looking build! Looking forward to a range report.

Well, range session cut short. Made clean cold bore 1000yard 1st round hit, then she started acting up a little. After scratching my head and ass, I notice that the barrel is barely touching the stock. Now back to the shop to correct the issue before just wasting ammo. A60CB927-00D4-4E8D-94E7-A72C274AD523.jpg
