My bad, I thought you were talking about the VLD hunter.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Agree with a .03ish jump with VLDS but have had success with jammed upto . 1ish even in Vld and hybrid tacs.

She seems to be running well in your group photo with the 185 tsx, but understand the tinkering.

The GS scout stock is pretty nice (bar the skinny front end on bags or pack) but light and comfy it is indeed. Mulies get pretty big out that way , not overkill , no such thing in my book.

Ok, it's apparent that she's liking the shorter jump (Griffin ). Looks like I'll be bust'n out da dremel to see how much more I can get.

.30 jump it is. Pulled the last round, got in a hurry. Now just need my McMillan stock to hurry up and get here and she'll be done. Gonna load some to go play at the range.

This stuff is really cool. I'll admit I don't really know much about rifles and reloading. I googled this "jump" thing. Pretty cool how that effects accuracy. I'm sure this is a dumb question, but are you shooting at 100 yards?

    Yes 100 yds.

Heck, if the factory stock is shooting like this I can't wait to see what the McMillan will do. Might not see it all in the 100yd target, but I'm sure it will pay when we start skretch'n her out to a grand.

Not maxed, but I don't want the chance of sticking a round during a hunt. So I want to keep it safely around the .025-.030 off the lands. And I screwed up it's .030 (but ya'll knew what I meant)

Had a buddy that stuck a round one time, but luckily it was just a deer hunt here around the house. After that I'm a little gun shy on the closely jammed loads for hunting.

Load 3 or four up without powder and primer to max length and then cycle quick to find max operating length. IM betting you have a couple more thousandths before you bind.

My guy dropped in at McMillan today, they said it’s “in production”. Hopefully it won’t be too long......
