    I'm not originally from Alan's community, but felt he always treated me as good as anyone he grew up with when I saw him.

    Just small acts of kindness and inclusiveness that set him apart as someone to respect and emulate.

    True story: I once let a jug of milk and groceries go bad cause I didn't want to leave my neighbors yard while Alan was telling old stories of racing and such.

    He was a local hero to me and many others here and I am going to miss him.

    And if a funeral can be cool that one certainly was.

    He was a living superhero. Blessed that I was fortunate enough to hog hunt with him. He was one of the few people in this world that left a mark on everyone he knew and met.
