    Default Vinyl Plank Flooring Recommendation?

I am looking to have a vinyl plank floor like pictured below, installed directly on the slab, in the living quarter portion of my pole barn.

I want something that looks decent and is easy to clean.

Any recommendations for a certain product and installer or business in the Columbia/Lexington/Gilbert area?

    Thanks!

I installed my own. Pretty simple, once you get the hang of it.

Put down a waterproof barrier/underlayment (that's the aggravating part).

Biggest thing - get the thick stuff, that snaps together and holds good.
The thinner product, doesn't snap together and hold as nicely - go for the thicker stuff.

Got mine at Lowes (bathroom took 3 boxes)

I would do it myself but need it done quicker than I can get to it.

Why the planks versus a vinyl sheet? Home depot had a pretty thick vinyl sheet of the Grey stuff. Looked pretty damn durable. Less time to install too.

Bought this at Lowes on clearance. $52 and took about an hour to do. Snap together vinyl.

I installed 2 rooms of the luxury vinyl tile planks and hate it. I will get you the manufacturer but we have had nothing but issues with adhesive seeping through and seams rolling up. Maybe all on installer, who I wont recommend, but I will be replacing this stuff soon

Some products require a backer and some don't. I used Corelok(I think) from lowe's. Around $3 sq' plus installation. The cheaper product they carry requires a backer and with material and labor was more than the nicer stuff.

    Adhesive? WTH?
The snap together vial plank flooring I had, required no adhesive.

Make sure it's the solid vinyl snap down and not the vinyl over particle board. Solid vinyl wasn't available when I did my house and a couple spots where Bandit pissed on the floor is bubbling up.

Had these same issues with LVT. My supplier/installer quit carrying all LVT we had so many issues. I personally had two spec houses that the manufacturer removed and reinstalled the same product because it had so many flaws and variations from box to box.

Go with sheet vinyl or the snap together LVT although I've never used it and can't speak about it.

About to do some Shaw floating vinyl plank. I'll let you know what I think later this week.

I've got it in two bathrooms. Good stuff...easy install. Then in the master we have another kind and like others said the variation from box to box is pretty bad. I put it down anyway and it sucks. When I feel like it, I'll replace it with Shaw lvt
