What's the most deer you have killed in a single season?

I could careless how many deer you choose to kill in any given season but when I hear people talk about those kind of numbers am curious as to why?

I'm with RT on this thinking. It's hard for me to believe that this many deer were killed and a lot of them weren't wasted in some form or fashion. Even if it's freezer burn. If they were all killed, cleaned and eaten or at least given to someone who would eat them, then more power to you. I know we, as a family, have killed many a deer, and driven them down the road to a family that needed them more than us. If this is your reasoning then good on you in HMO.

I killed 13 during season and usually average 25-30 deer during the summer.

Folks around here never go without deer meat.

No...no it's not, but when you bring it to a public forum be prepared to answer this type of question.

Like I said before, I really don't care, just curious. If it's your land, you can manage it however the hell you want to. However, when you are taking that many deer in one season, you are not only effecting the population on your land but also the boarding properties. In that case, it does become a concern for others who don't believe in taking that many deer.

This is extremely interesting because I would like to know what the people protecting crops have to say. I would guess cars and coyotes are proficient killers also.

I give away 6 or more deer a year to people that can't or don't hunt. I'm an asshole. Nice people might give away 12. I will also kill every 4.5 yr old buck I can public or private.
