The Mount is outstanding and the well worn band makes it even better. Neat mount

No doubt. What makes it even cooler is the first Miner band sent back was from a Black Duck killed by a doctor Bray in Anderson, SC.

1910 - First complete banding record in January when Dr. W. Bray of Anderson, South Carolina returned the band. (http://www.jackminer.ca/About.aspx)

That is a damn fine mount, it is rare to see an excellent duck or turkey. That is an excellent duck. Congrats again.

Hell I'd be tickled pink to harvest a black duck (my Eleanor) much less one donning JM jewelry. Fine looking bird there.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

As the owner of some really shitty waterfowl taxidermy, that black is flawless. One hell of a mount.

I'd still like to hit you 50 times with a flyswatter for not knowing what a Miner is/was...
