Cut opposite ends off, strip, butt connect extension wires in, heat shrink and roll on.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

There are more than one size of them.

Northern Tool has 10' long sets with that flat plug at one end and battery clips at the other for $10.
