    Default Motion light problem

I installed an LED motion light at my wife's grandmothers house last year. It's been great. Well, went to the house last night and noticed it was not working. Upon further inspection I see that it is working but the LED's are not getting bright at all...the look like a dying flashlight on it's last bit of energy.

My first guess is that it got zapped by lightening but I've not looked at it too close just yet.

Any idea before I dig to far into this, this afternoon?

They are a PITA. We will not install them anymore, too many call backs. Just replace it and be done.

Check and see what temp that LED is rated for. LEDs do not like the heat.
