    Default Herbicide

I just bought a new ATV sprayer and need a recommendation for some good herbicide. I am spraying a grown up cutover that has tall weeds over 5ft. A strong concentrate that can be bought by the gallon is preferred.

Go to any chemical supplier, Meherrin, CPS, Rodgers fertilizer, etc. and buy their generic. Usually $30-$35. I also add crop oil or another surfactant to make the chemical more effective.

    Glyphosphate plus.

We pay $70 for 5 gallons.

Whatever you get just make sure glyphosphate is the active ingredient. Then mix 2-4 ounces per gallon.

I saw that, after tax that tractor supply will charge you thats 23.50 a gallon, That's highway robbery I would also spray 2-4d with the roundup; roundup alone isnt going to cut it, spraying 5ft talk weeds your going I have mixed results no matter what you spray.

Agrisupply, feed store or most farm stores.

Glystar Plus and make sure it's the 41%

$35 - $37.50 is a good walk in price for a 2.5 gal container of 4 lb generic glyphosate these days. More than that and you are getting ripped. Go to an Ag chemical dealer. No tax there also.

    Meherrin, CPS, Carolina Eastern, Helena.

Bumping this one back up. I need to buy some more Glyphosate and wasn't planning on headed to Florence/AgriSupply anytime soon. Are there any Ag Chemical dealers within 30 minutes of Lexington?

I need to get around 5 gallons.

Home Depot has a 41% 2.5 gallon jug for a touch over 40 bucks. House brand-HDX I think...works as well as any of them.
