Drove from Beaufort to Florence down 95 today. Hit a few miles of traffic before Walterboro headed north, but it was due to a wreck.

Other than that I rolled 78 mph with the cruise control on.

Not seeing the traffic they have been predicting. They must have had the weatherman making that call.

We just came home from north Georgia through the upstate and traffic was much worse going Friday afternoon than it was coming home today. Much ado about nothing. Several of our group took the alternate route on the back roads and lost about an hour for no reason. #fakenews

My neighbor was wearing one of the "Y'all are leaving" t-shirts yesterday. She's from fucking Ohio. She asked me what I was laughing at.

Don't go to a Krispy Kreme. The line is around the block at the one near my house in Cayce.

I am and they were spot on. I left Ma-inlaws house north of Rome Ga at 12:00. Made pretty good time on I75, but when I hit 285 to go around Hotlanta it was bumper to bumper all lanes. Finally made it to 85 north and it was worse than 285. All the way to the Anderson exit was sit for 15mins, dash about two miles and sit for 15mins. I felt like I was back in basic with the "hurry up and wait". Not to mention all the wrecks that would stop me for what seemed like forever. Even the wrecks in the south bound lanes had me stopped because of idiot rubberneckers! I just rolled in to the house about 10mins ago. What would normally be a 4.5 hour drive took me 7+ hours. Screw that noise. I told the wife we should have left at midnight last night.

There were enough strangers rolling through this weekend that i pulled Buffalo Trace off the shelf. I told my people just to throw up a bottle at a time.

We haven't seen the extra crownds we were expecting yet. My wife just got back from the mandatory dog ride on the golf cart around Sullivans Island. She said there were several cars with out of state tags cruising around. Tomorrow should be telling as for as how bad it might get.

Everything was smooth sailing down 378 towards Columbia this morning. Everyone taking the day off provided a quick commute for me.

Agreed. I popped over the dam to Parkridge and it was good. After 10 maybe a different story when they close 2 lanes.

I think I95 North coming to Santee and I95 South down to Manning will be the busiest stretches in the state.
