Default South Carolina 2018 Recruiting Class

For those that were giving me shit about saying South Carolina was not that far behind Clemtech in recruiting... They just surpassed them in recruiting rankings. I know it's still early but with 4 star safety Marlon Character committing today that makes 8 commitments in less than a month of days. Muschamp and crew are certainly putting in work.

What are the insiders telling you at 247 Sports?

Muschamp is loading up with 3 stars. If you think recruiting is on par with Clemson go for it. Look at Alabama winning with 3 stars, oh wait.

Davie, don't bring facts in here.
Just wait another week or two when the real bomb shells fall to Coach Champ.
He is killing it to only have been here a little over a year.

Good job. Dabo is being very selective with limited ships this year.

That is Rival's ranking, not DJA's. I know it hurts but its there. Just have another look if you don't believe it

Scout and 247 see your class differently. And they ain't no way Bama does not finish in the top 5. They are in the 50's right now.

The least important thing is the score at halftime.

I am glad USC is doing well. However, you do understand how the ranking system works right? It is by total points. The more important factor is average stars per recruit. That tells you the quality of players coming in. Saying the cocks are ahead in recruiting when they have 18 versus 11 signed up is just silly.

Saying anybody is signed at this point in time is silly. I understand how the rating system works though and they do it that way for a reason.

How many points do you get when your almost sure thing commit 4 star DB pulls a Nkimdichee and commits to Oregon?

Pretty soon CVS and Walgreens will catch on to DJA buying all the NyQuil and call the sheriff's office.

Three stars commit early because they're scared of waiting too long. "3 star" programs take them because, well, it's the best they can do. They brag about top 15 rankings in August and hide in a hole on signing day.

Go to bed lil brothers, daddy's coming down the hall.

There are very few things as entertaining as false hope by an opponent. You know, the kind y'all's CB had last November when he thought he could cover Mike......

Don't let them know. They should compare the average rank of the players Boom lost with in Flordia compared to what they expect him to win with in Columbia.

We tore y'all a new one for 5 years in a row with three stars while y'all were mis evaluating your 5 stars... I.e. Tony Steward, Willy Korn, etc. you guys seem to miss the part where I said I know it's early, but we have plenty of schollys left and are in good shape with some very good players. We will see.

Way too early to talk about recruiting rankings.
