    Default Marc Ackerman Duck call

Just wanting to see if anyone know anything about these. Friend of mine found it cleaning out a house and gave it to me. Just wondering if I should keep it or put it in the trading post. Has Marc Ackerman 2000 engraved on it. Value?

Marc Ackerman Swamp Thing. They were around 125-150 a good number of years back if I recall correctly.

ETA: They were pretty solid calls. Have a couple floating around somewhere.

I had one that we deadly until I lost the reeds and tone board. I replaced it with another that wasn't near as deadly.

Marc is a great dude and a great hunter. Hugh at Big Lake Duck calls hunted with him some and was part of his inspiration to build calls.

As for his calls, the best call I have is a Swamp Thing. His calls were somewhat inconsistent and you had to blow several before finding one that suited. The good ones were really good.

I have had a few jam up timber hunts with Marc
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

I have one in Bois d'arc. Needs very little air flow to operate, but it's a little higher pitched and not as raspy as I like. It was the first nice call I'd ever purchased.

He’s alive and kicking because he’s standing out here on the
Baseball field with me right now. I’ll get his updated contact info and
post with his permission. Says he’s wanting to get back into it and we are going
to work on some production brainstorming next week. Anyone wanting to inquire
    can reach me at(843) 647-8807 or patrickstewart8151@gmail.com

Wasn't someone on here looking for a Marc Ackerman Swamp Thing call? Found mine in a box while cleaning out the garage. Still sounds as good as the day I first bought it.

I would hold on to that one. Not many of the old all wood calls still around.
