Y'all are over reacting. Luke could communicate with R2D2, they even had feelings for each other. And all those other droids were the same. Hell there was an article on one of those sites the other day about a sex robot you could make as your perfect woman, some of you could reach those standards you set then.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I saw a japanese robot talking on the news last night. In the two seconds before I realized it wasn't an actual japanese chick, my brain had decided she was doable.
