    Default Exhaust Silencer for UTV?

Has anyone ever used one of these on their UTV before? Do they make any significant difference? If they do work, any specific brand you would recommend?

I don't have an UTV, but I have one on my 4 wheeler. Works damn good, all you hear is the noise of the engine. Still not as quiet as a golf cart though.

We have a Ranger 800. My dad wants to sell it and get a golf cart so that he can use it to get around our property quietly when he is hunting. I don't want to lose the power/utility of the ranger so I am trying to find a compromise... What brand did you have?

I had a Kawasaki Mule which was already fairly quiet. Those rangers are loud. What you likely hear is all the nuts and bolts and other crappy parts rattling around

When we going to see pics of winch bumper. It's been over a week and it should take only 2or3 days for any greenhorn welder.

From what I've gathered off other forums and youtube is that they don't work that great on UTV's b/c they have a lot more than exhaust noise. Now, on a 4wheeler they work great.

If you have access to a welder you and make one a lot cheaper. A friend of mine made one for his Foreman by using a tractor muffler off ebay.
