    Default Florida fishing in September

    Just got told by one of my best buds that I get to plan his bachelor party for September and the only thing he wants to do is go to Florida and fish. Ive only fished Florida for a week about 10yrs ago during January. Was fun but didn't catch a lot. Been reading online about the Tuna fishing out of Destin and wondering whose all done that?

    The other kicker is we have a friend who lives in Jacksonville where we could crash for free but on that side of Florida, I believe you have to go a pretty good ways offshore before the fishing gets right(and I could very well be wrong).

    If you are looking for great fishing go to Venice. There's no nightlife other than the occasional deal at the marina, but you will catch more fish than you can stand and the hospitality is bad ass.

    I'm assuming you're meaning Venice, Florida and not Venice, Louisiana?

    Night life won't be the main reason of the trip but I'm sure a night on the town will be wanted. Personally, I'd rather focus on fishing but I'm just one of 6 going.

    Go to a Titty club if you want to see titties. If you want to make a fishing trip you will remember the rest of your life with your friends in September, Venice , LA will be tough to beat. If you get super desperate to waste your money , there are plenty of shoe shows in New Orleans - about 1.5 hours away. 70 miles or so.

    The skin bar days are long gone. When I say night life, I'm just referring to some downtown bars and live music.
