Marsh Chicken is part of the hipster movement. Riding around on his 15" steel rims drinking from a dixie cup.

I had Toyo's on a 1500 but was wondering about the weight of the 3/4 ton. I'll probably stick with the A/T's

I don't care for black rims.. Does that make me racist or a hipster?

Roddie will be along shortly to tell you that it's racist.

Guess I'm going have to break down and post a pic of my truck with black wheels and Toyo's

To the OP, Toyo E rated will hold up fine on a 3/4 ton truck.

What about the new BFG's all terrain? Saw them on a truck this weekend and like the new look. My brother in law said his tire guy told him to stay away from the new ones because they don't last. I like the set I have now and don't see why wouldn't last as long.

And yeah Kev I want to see the truck.

I've got several friends that had the new BFG ko2 and none of them got as much mileage out of them as the old bfg all terrains. They've all switched to nitto trail grapplers and Toyo open country M/T and are getting about 50,000 out of them on half tons and well over 40,000 on 3/4 tons.

I've got 55,000 on my old style Bfg all terrains with still 1/4 or more tread left. If they will ever wear out I'm going to trail grapplers next.
