    Default 23 hp Kawasaki is giving me grey hair

    Long story short, my hustler will run like a top for a hour or so, then shut off. Cleaned carb, checked fuel cut off Solenoid and it had power. Anyone had similar issue?

    I've been through 2 of them they are garbage.

    Check k the cooling fins make sure it's not a vapor lock. Check gas cap and all hoses. Oh and the coil!

    Heat soak takes less than 20 minutes of full load. Changed fuel filter/strainer? Sounds like it's starving after it has ran for a duration.

    They run HOT and will shut off.

    I thought these Kawasaki 23s were pretty sporty. First I've heard a really bad review of them.

    Motor is a 2000 with about 800 hrs. Don't use no oil or smoke. I'm going to check the coils out today

    Not likely that 2 coils would cut out at the same time , imo.

    In this pic on the right is some linkage, l see no place to attach. Anybody got a motor and investigate if yours is hook to something. It doesn't affect the motor if pulled or pushed.

    Looks like your choke is hanging free. Mine has a rod with the butterfly choke coming through. It has a plastic clip that attaches the choke. I've had to replaces it 3 times to get the plastic clip. Its duct tape right now.

    Choke is hooked up , can't see in pic.
