That 3rd one is resilient. I kill it with 2-4-d but it just keeps popping up in other spots like fire ants.

The top one is chamberbitter. Atrazine will work as a pre emergent on it. I found the established weed hard to kill. I pulled it by hand.

The 3rd picture is common lespedesia. 2-4-D will the temps are 80 degrees or under. Same for the first pick. Atrazine helps as a pre emergent.

Let's recap. This is a centipede lawn. Most herbicide kill centipede. My goal is to kill these three weeds without killing my lawn.

I had a chamberbitter infestation in a centipede lawn. I tried a few weed killers that were ok for centipede, and it did not kill the chamberbitter. I actually had to get on my hands and knees and pull up about a 39 gallon trash can full of it to get it all. I then applied atrazine to the yard, and never had a problem with it again.

My pee, burnt motor oil and yellow onions. Individually and every mixture and combination possible. Still hadn't worked.

    Round Up works great.

You will not kill the chamberbitter... You need to get it under control though with a pre emergent. You are going to have to pull that crap and throw it in the trash. As far as the crabgrass and spurge I would use trimec. Go to wplaw and get set up with their lawn program. And stick with it. Pre and post emergents are very important as is fertilizer. Key to a healthy lawn is thick grass to keep sunlight from hitting the soil to allow seeds to grow. Proper mowing height and water are also important.

That's a good damn question. That's the same damn question my wife asked me this morning.
