    We use a gallon paint can to catch the grease. They are some breakfast cooking machines.

    Negative.

    It will be kept in my pole barn when not in use and covered with a drop cloth.

    I'm going to strictly use as a griddle. I use my BGE for grilling.

    Gotcha. I am looking to replace our gas grill and this might be the ticket.

    10-4. It could work great for both.

    Even with the cover I wouldn't keep it outside exposed to the elements. Maybe under a porch or carport but not in the wide open on a back deck. Think cast iron. The griddle top will rust if not seasoned correctly.

    If I ever have the need to build a house, it will not have a stove. It will have 2 griddle tops or 1 the size of Yamatos.
