Just under two weeks away
Unfortunately, there are 2 other registered tournaments that I will be considering on Saturday, so I will miss this one.
Great time today. Weather was amazing. Saw some pretty awesome shooters. Two of the guys in front of us shot perfect.
What station did y'all start on
I started on station 7. Shot a 96. Should of been clean but it happens
Sounds like the targets were pretty soft. That guy over in Swansea throws heat even at association shoots.
Speaking of targets, the NWTF shoot the other week, also held there in Edgefield, broke me of going back. I'm not goung to the state shoot because its there. THE worst targets I've ever seen were on the north course. And, as usual, way too many curly, edgy targets throughout. There was a target (believe it was #2 on Five Stand 2) that looked like they dropped the trap off and forgot to come back and adjust it. As it sat there, it was about 35 yards from the closest stand and the target went up at about a 45 degree angle, stalled out, and fell back towards the trap on edge the whole way. I don't get it.
Well, dog gone. I can't copy and paste pictures.

I didn't hear good things about the North course from the guys that shot it. To paraphrase, it was set by someone that didn't know how to set targets.
I also heard that there was no attempt at dust control.
I'm still going to the state shoot. I hope they address some of these problems before the state shoot.
If you took three people from behind the counter of any given chick-fil-a to replace everyone at the palmetto shooting center...or whatever they call it, it would make an immediate and measurable improvement.
