Who knows anything or has heard about that boat that sunk. I think it was yesterday? Paul Mann boat, Sportsmann? I'm hearing second hand but pics show it is a goner.

Guys at this point let's don't rush to any judgement or drop any names because this without a doubt couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

It was sportsman so I've been told. I saw some Snapchat video of it going down. Tons of boats onsite. The bow was down, but you never know, if they couldn't keep it underway water would go there at rest.

Emergency crews were on hand Saturday to assist passengers of a sinking boat.

According to officials, reports came in that a 55-foot vessel that was taking on water.

Upon arrival, they discovered that approximately 60% of the boat was submerged underwater. However, all passengers on-board had already relocated to the vessel of a nearby boater.

Members from C.F.D. Marine 101 and the N.C.P.D. Marine Unit attempted to raise the vessel, but the efforts were unsuccessful due to the amount of water the boat had already taken on and the choppy water conditions at that time.

All parties involved were safely returned to shore.

Sounds like a salvage company needs to be dialed up.. How deep is the water where this boat sank?

Was told it is in ~40ft outside shipping channel in chas. Right now they are guessing hull delamination or bow thruster failure. They were running and pulled back and when they did engine room was full of water.
