I've got a good friend in Chapin who has made something to deal with the heat...he's hot natured as fugg, and has always suffered through the misery of SC golf outings and deer hunting (most of season) and dove shoots. He's tried to patent it, but patent lawyers say it's composed to too many pieces that are too similar to other stuff and it's not patentable. Basically, it's a cooler for your cold beers/water/drinks and he has it drilled and rigged with mechanism that blows AC mist on you and you can take it anywhere. Has small ones for golf cart and just made a big one that is a cooler/AC unit/dove stool for upcoming dove season. He made and took 4 extra to MB for his son's travel league baseball tourney and sold them all in a half hour after folks saw and experienced it...said he could have sold 50 right there had he had them. He isn't making enough on them the way he's doing it for me to bother with it (if I were in his shoes), but I'm sure he will make them for anyone who wants one, as the invention is creature damn cool and it his baby that he's proud of. They are pretty damn spiffy, virtually silent (silent as an ozonics I guess), and odorless. I'm getting him to make me a dove stool version. I'll ask him if he would entertain orders for them and if he'd mind if I post his info on here if it does not break any rules...or if he'd be willing to do whatever he needs to do to make it ok to post it on here. It's nothing you couldn't make yourself, but like he told the folks at MB, you can work your asses off gathering all the stuff, cutting it to fit, putting it together, and finishing it only to save a whopping 75-100$. I'll see if it's cool and then post some pics.

Hush yo mouf, some folks is allergic to sweat.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

In my younger years I hunted in this heat, now I have no interest in sweating my ass off for any critter. After over 20 years of deer hunting, I've kinda lost interest in it anyway. I bet I have hunted 5 times total in the last 5 years. I'm thinking about getting another boat and giving up the hunting for a while. At least fishing I can do it year around and don't need permission from landowners

You soak the pennies in fermented onions?
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right
