Hang on. I'm confused. First there was no way to enforce tags and tagging deer. Now tags are just an excuse for DNR to write tickets?
Y'all make my head hurt.

People who don't hunt outside of sc don't realize how lucky they are to not have blind laws. Blind laws could be a great thing but greed is way too strong among hunters for it to ever work like it should
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.
Doo Whaa?
Only places you can't hunt on Marion is Cypress Gardens cove and the Refuge.
1 is posted by "No Hunting" and the other is posted every 500ft with the standard USFWS refuge signs .
Oh, and you can't be within 200ft of the docks at the Resort.
Complicated is a loose term.....
You can hunt wherever you want, and I'm damn glad for it.
We do just fine without ridiculous blind laws...thank you very much.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
Tell us about how you know you can't hunt to close to those docks

Good grief.
All I have to say on that matter is that I grew up hunting Marion.
I was turned loose at 13 with a jonboat. I'd wager most folks that grew up on the water did things to push the boundaries when they were younger.
We kept a few undersized fish, killed a few more ducks than we should have, and at times those big corn fed greenheads and the Black ducks that sat with em, were more than we could take.
Would you be happy if I were ashamed? Lol. I wasn't then, and I'm certainly not now. Most of the reprimanding came from my father. I had to pay an 80$ ticket nearly 20 years ago with some other scducks members at Stumphole. I was 15.
Certainly wasn't a 700$ trespassing to hunt waterfowl ticket at 30yrs old.
Take it easy Griff. Nobody's challenging you to a test of manhood.
