    The Daniel Boone Inn in Boone NC and The BBQ and Mercantile in Lone Star has some jam up fried chicken.

    There's a couple of black ladies cookin' chicken in Gtown that will destroy any of those places. You just got to figure out where they're working from week to week.
    Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

    If'n yall want some mindblowing fried chicken, the Bamberg Men's Social club has a limited number of seat twice a month in November.. life changing. No dat. If you get approval to stay for supper, it's usually fairly edible too.

    Mrs. Mac's from Piggly Wiggly used to be reliably the best you could find around Charleston. I know caterers that repackaged it and took credit for it as their own cooking.

    Mrs. Mac's is still available in Summerville...and yes, it's good.

    I have had Biddie Banquet and 1 other on the list, they were good, McCabe's in Manning was the best before they closed. Now Spinx and Caterans are spot on, Popeye's is next.
