    Default Concierge/Primary-care/Membership Medical Care

The first article is about a pediatrician in Anderson, Dr. Hill. I also heard there was a doctor in Greenville that uses this model too. The second article is with Dr. Umbehr and goes into more detail on how it works. I had heard it discussed on conservative radio. Sounds like a good deal, especially for families with children and older people. Those who tend to get sick more often.

A new kind of doctor's office charges a monthly fee and doesn't take insurance — and it could be the future of medicine

This second doctor says that insurance (paperwork, red tape, etc.) is 40% of what you pay for a visit.

The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Its a great platform as long as the provider really offers the full scope of primary care. I have seen some physicians charge $2k a year and they won't even run a flu test in the office. Everything gets sent out to a specialist or a reference lab. They make bank while doing practically nothing. The models that truly offer full scale primary care for a flat fee are fantastic. I hope it's the way medicine moves. All the sweet tea drinkers will start to realize just how costly that diabetes really is...
