    Default High Tide Boat information

I am very interested in purchasing a high tide. Really leaning towards one with a side console. I have searched the web and have not found much information. I see they do not use wood in the Mi Tides now. Did they use wood in high tide boats? Is that what is causing the soft spots? Did they stop using wood after a certain year? What should I look for as a problem if purchasing an high tide? Thanks in advance for any information or links on any of the above questions.

The older ones had wood, do your standard check for soft spots and rotten transom.
I would look for a tiller as space is a premium on a boat that size.

Also look for a tall transom model.

mi tide still uses wood but offers composite construction as an option. if you keep it inside or under a shed, you won't have a problem with wood. I bought a 16ft side console last fall from tailwalker. 70 yamaha 4 stroke. no regrets. I talked directly with mi tide and tailwalker when deciding on what I wanted.
