Wife is watching TV the other night and the TV emits a loud bang or pop. Screen is blank and no sound. Light to the TV works fine so it is getting power. Any ideas what it could be?

Exact same problem. This is the second time mine has done it. Apparently it is a common thing that happens. I've gotten it fixed one time and I think it was around 200 bucks. I think there is actually is or was a class-action lawsuit about it. There's a catchy name for it but I can't remember what it is.

Carry it back to lowes and tell them USMCsilver sent ya
I had a dlp tv years ago that did the same thing. The bulb cost $150 or so to replace and was a 5 minute job. Not sure about plasma but prob a similar scenario. Google it and the TV size and you prob get the solution
Otherwise I have a bad ass led I got I'll sell you for a little more than I paid for it.
On the bulb for dlp it was a bulb amd the key was to not touch it with your bare hands.
I took it to some TV repair shop off of N. Main St. It was the only one that was open and I needed it fixed ASAP because I think a bowl game was coming on or something

Is this plasma out of the G650 ?
How about the boat, need to take a ride up to Augusta and shoot some deer off Carolina bank.
Google your tv and the symptoms. People sell the boards, usually both for under 100 bucks and it's usually only one of the boards inside. I changed mine pretty easily but I had to buy both because I couldn't diagnose which side was bad.
Capacitors make a loud pop when they die. Might be your culprit.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!
