I can only imagine how many bolts I would have boogered up before I managed drill a straight hole through one. And that would be before I screwed up a bunch of tools trying to cut the tungsten "button". It would probably be a lot cheaper for me to just buy a new barrel.

I wonder what Swamp Rat would see in the difference from the first bullet shot from that barrel and say the 10th or 20th shot. That rifling looked kind of raggedy when he finished with it. Unless he polished it before shooting there should be a big difference in the markings on first round as apposed to a later round.

Seems like a fun idea for a little shop project
I looked at his video on making that pistol. Thought it would be fun to try. Then he broke out what I assume is a wildly expensive computerized lathe.
