Default FLW stop #7 Potomac River

Son fished the last FLW regular season tournament of the year, was in 28th after day one, jumped to 10th after day two, made the Saturday cut. Had a pretty good day and is tied 9th/10th and made the final cut to fish tomorrow. Still fishing with a broken ankle. With this finish also qualified for the Forest Wood Cup on Murray in August. Bryan Thrift won angler of the year.

We fished against him in a Wednesday night tournament on lake greenwood about two weeks ago.
I meant to try to speak to him but never got the chance

At the Wisconsin FLW event he jumped down some stairs and landed wrong. Doctor wanted to do surgery, but he said not until after the Cup.

Finished in 9th, wound up 12th in the points for the year. He's excited the Cup is in close enough diving distance that he can fish a good bit before it goes off limits. We used to fish Murray a good bit when he was young, but he hasn't been on it much in the last few years. He will probably be spending a lot of time there over the next few weeks. Looking for a house to rent on Murray the week of August 5-13, if you know of one PM me. His travel partners and there wives/fiancées are coming so needs to be 3 or 4 bedrooms.

Them Men was up by the house looking all day today on Murray. Some are real ASSHOLES and have no respect for your boat, dock, or their wake.
