    Default JIR Wildlife Services

I have been in the land selling business now for about 11 years.
Last year we started a Wildlife Services division. After testing it for a year, we decided to upgrade and go full bore this season.

JIR Wildlife Services is a land management service for land owners and hunting lessees in the Upstate.

If you need help with bushhogging, plowing, planting, and/or fertilizing, we have the equipment.

Our niche is that all of our equipment is mobile. We are currently running two tractors with a variety of implements.

Call Tyler Visin at 864-419-5954 if you would like any help getting ready for deer season. We can trim up your shooting lanes, plant your fall food plots, prep your land for sale, etc.

    Thanks,
    Jenks

Thanks JAB! We are charging $50 per hour door to door in 2017. That is CHEAP. Seed, fertilizer, herbicide, lime, etc is added on top.

Also, for the record, I have been planting food plots and managing land for 25+ years. I am just saying that so that no one thinks we are new to this.

Thanks for the support, Jenks and Tyler.

Wish you worked in the PeeDee area ... I need 3 acres bush hogged since I sold my tractor, people were asking stupid money to cut it. I would push mow it all before I paid what most of them wanted.

One guy was $250/acre, and out of the 3 people I sent messages to, they were all relatively close to the same cost.

Wow. I'm not charging enough, apoarently, for the few jobs I do on the side.

Jenks, good luck with your new company.

If I would have thought I could make that much bush hogging, I wouldn't have sold my tractor and bush hog.

Good Lordy!! That seems high as hell to me. I guess it all depends on how thick the property is. A one foot high field is a lot quicker to cut than something say three feet or more.

They never even saw it, or knew what I needed cut, that is the quote they gave me over the phone.

The problem with quoting a bush hogging job is what some people consider "bush hogging a field." Half the time when you roll up to somebodies "field" you don't know if there's stumps, holes, etc hiding under the grass/brush. You charge somebody $200 to bush hog an acre and they don't tell you about the big stump thats hidden, all of a sudden its cost you $1000 to cut their field for them.

Jenks, that sounds like a service niche that needs filling. A lot of people that own a little land can't afford to buy a tractor and implements. The rates you guys are charging makes it much or affordable. Good luck!

Those unknown stumps are where a front bucket can come in handy to give you a little warning.
