    Default Gear question: "Portable" GPS

Garmin used to make a "276C" model (discontinued now). It was a cool little marine GPS that had self contained battery and antenna. You could buy a bracket for your boat and for your car and you could use it either on the ocean or on the road. I don't see anything like that now (at least at Garmin).

So, what I am looking for:
    1) Something bigger than a tiny hand held (giving better chart viewing area - larger)
    2) Something with marine maps
    3) Something with a battery and built in antenna
    4) Something that has a base mount that I could mount in a boat, ATV, etc.
    5) Something that would hold up in saltwater (offshore), so no "smartphone" or tablet.

Anyone have any recommendations on something like this? I would think kayakers would be using something like this, etc.

Just to close the loop. I ended up picking up this unit. It's pretty nice and did just what I needed. If anyone else happens to be looking at this, make sure you upgrade the software on this unit right out of the box. It had a lot of software bugs that I noticed on day 1. Not only did the upgrade fix the bugs, it makes the unit pan more smoothly, supports more icons, etc.
