Yes Chad noticed him first started talking to him when he was in the 9th grade. He became very close friends with Watson and his family. With out that tie he would not have come to clemson. Dabo was in there to but Chad gets the credit hands down.

I would've thought that the Coastal Carolina coach would've been on that list

Why don't you get in your truck and go drive it off the Salkehatchie Bridge. I'm sorry your stump knocking brethren turned this thread into a football. I'm just stating facts that everything that has anything to do with Carolina gets turned into Spurrier. I don't do it, they do

He has made it pretty clear he is happy at Coastal and doesn't want to leave. He turned down Auburn a few years ago. That is his alma mater and now that he's won a NC he pretty much owns the place. I don't think Texas could pull him away at this point

"Perhaps a coach donning the purple and orange will trade in those colors for garnet and black. Clemson head coach Monte Lee is a early candidate. He's coming off a 42 win season and hosting back to back NCAA Regionals. His team also beat South Carolina this season."

I know you necks give us a lot to laugh about but this would be tops!

I just looked at the ranking for most championships and Carolina was 9th. It's weird though I didn't see the team from the upstate on the list. As a matter of fact the team from the upstate has never even appeared in a championship game which Carolina has done 6 times. Hmmmmmmmm #weeatpressurelikecandy

Dont worry, Omaha must be a "participation trophy" event. Dont believe it, just look at the back of the 'tards hats.

yes, started recruiting him when Deshaun was a freshman. Was the only coach in the gym watching him play basketball, etc. at games. He got on him early.

Yep, Watson saved Dabo's job. If #6 had happened Dabo was gone.

You really think that if he had lost to Carolina in 2016 and been 10-3 (3rd consecutive 10 win season), he would have been gone? You must be running a high fever.

It's ok, you just keep spewing. Your whole defensive attitude about everything USuck is quite funny, sad, but still funny. Some people have lives, others tend to post alot about "their" teams on sport forums and boards.
