I think the article said he resigned, but you can title your thread however you see fit.

Before you jump on me though, I do realized he was probably "asked" to resign.

No I wouldn't say he Spurriered. Spurrier owned the team in the upstate, Holbrook did not. You Taters just can't get the HBC out your minds can you? Haha it quite comical how he's brought up in every thread about Carolina. He's like a bad nightmare that y'all can't forget. Anyway, let's carry on with the BASEBALL thread and talk BASEBALL. Who's the next man gonna be? Who do y'all want?

No no. Talk about him all you want. Get those bad memories out. After all, it's your nightmares and bad memories, not mine.

Oh just spurrier, you're being mean. They can't help the spurrier culture on Columbia.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Obviously you haven't forgotten because y'all continuously bring up the man on a daily basis. If you had forgotten it, you'd never bring his name up. Just saying

Spurrier WAS a great coach, and a great get for USuCk. He OWNED Clemson for a few years, notice the past tense. He was a great coach right up until he quit, unfortunately for the cocks, he quit a couple years before he decided to step down as coach. It took over a hundred years to find the success he had for a few years, and good luck in finding that kind of success again in the next hundred years. I feel pretty comfortable in saying that Carolina will not win 11 games in a season again in our lifetime. That is not a rant, as a Clemson fan, I give Spurrier all the credit in the world for what he did. I just do not think there is anyone out there, willing to come to Columbia SC, that will ever match it.

And just like that, a whole thread about Carolina's baseball coach resigning/ being fired has turned into a thread about Spurrier and a history lesson from JJ about Carolina football.

I am greatful for Spurrier, he had couple of mediocre seasons but he was enough of a jerk to burn the program to the ground before he left.

I am sure Tanner will make another homerun hire like Tom Herman, oh wait, nevermind.

You started it PJ. Using the word spurriered now, is like using the word clemsoning in the past. Its not about football, its about quitting. But you brought up the football aspect. You want to talk about football, by all means, lets talk about it.
