    Default 2017 spring

Haven't posted here in awhile, but thought I'd share this spring with y'all. It was a special one, and one that I doubt I'll ever top..Dad and I were able to finish our grand and royal slams, and we were able to do them both in a single season. Truly blessed to be able to share this with him. A season I'll never forget. God is good

Dad kicked it off in March with a stud Osceola off the roost. I connected that afternoon with a stud as well..

Next we were able to watch a good friend double up back here in SC

Then dad killed a double bearded lowcountry bird

We then killed 4 rios in the Lonestar State

Next up was our Goulds trip to MX..unforgettable trip, 6 of us killed 13...have a ton of pics from this trip, but this is my favorite one

Montana was next for Merriams...managed 4 there

This bird finished dads single season royal slam

I never ended up killing an SC eastern, so we found ourselves in Maine June 1-2 trying to get an eastern..killed 2 birds in some gorgeous terrain

Cherish those times and moments with your father. I'd give up every gobble I haven't heard yet to be able to hunt with mine just one more time.

    Damn fine season!

Awesome hunts and great memories. Congrats!

    Outstanding buddy

    Came back to ask

How long were the spurs on your dad's Osceola? The hook on that one is beyond impressive
