Take some Marine JB Weld or Marine Tex and build it back up and then shape it and paint it if you want to do something inexpensive.
15 years ago I did the same thing to a Yamaha 200hp HPDI. I ask my dealer and he gave me the name of a guy that repaired skegs. He welded a new piece on and sanded it and repainted it with Yamaha paint and it looked like new I think I paid about $100. I was concerned the welding might overheat the lower unit- but I kept that motor for 3 more years without any issue.
