    Default Inexpensive Alternative to Denamarin?

Doggie docs... My dog had some sago palm poisoning in the past and pulled through. His "liver values" were astronomical and have returned to normal levels (almost a year later after exposure). But, at the blessing of my vet, I've decided to keep him on Denimarin for the rest of his life (he's 11 yrs next month). The problem is, this stuff is expensive. Current search on Amazon sells the 75ct for $86. Since he needs 2.5 pills each day, that's only 1 month's worth. So, it's basically $3 per day just for this "vitamin".

Are there any "cheaper" alternatives that offer the same level of liver support?
