    Default Yamaha 150 issue?

My folks have a pontoon boat with a 150 Yamaha. The last couple years the boat hasn't been used much. Was used several times 2 summers ago and I stored it with gas that had been treated with starbrite and ran through. Last year I backed it into the water just to crank it up and let it run for a few minutes and back into storage it went. Today we took it out and it fired right up but just seemed like it ran rough. I could feel vibration in the steering wheel and throughout the entire boat really. My first guess was bad gas but I'm far from an outboard mechanic. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Andrew

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Drain the gas if possible. Regardless though, put a can of seafoam in it and run it for a while.

Seafoam and new plugs. Change the filters. Give it some basic maintenance.

Tie it up to dock and let it idle for an hour......then run it.

Its ok to mix the seafoam strong also. Wont hurt it. I have put a whole can to 3 gallons once and it was like a miracle. Smoked a little
