Default Effective time for Lightning herbicide?

We sprayed the sunflower field with Lightning herbicide today. Never used it before. How long does it take for affected grass / weeds to "show"? Overnight, days, or a week?

Size of weeds as well as type of surfactant/ crop oil you used. It's slow as stated, so be patient. Maybe your weeds are small, otherwise sorry for the false hope.

We used a generic nonionic surfactant and AMS per the label directions on the Lightning. Weeds are small....generally less than 4".

You should be fine. Any pigweeds? Most all pigweeds are ALS resistant which is the technology of lightning, cadre, etc. Grasses, small morning glory, and small sicklepod, it's pretty effective on.

Nutgrass, sicklepod, johnsongrass.....all small. We burned the field down with paraquat, disked and used Prowl pre-plant. First year we've used Clearfield sunflowers and Lightning, so we were just wondering how quickly the weeds would respond.

been a couple years since we last used lightning...weve been using lightning a couple years then cadre a couple years. Seems like lightning is more effective on pigweed and cadre seems to burn sicklepod a little better . used liquid nitrogen mixed with the lightning seems like .
