    Default Aluminum Welder - Summerville

I need 4, 1" welds. Dose not have to be pretty...Just needs to hold. I'd slap a gorilla weld on there myself, but I've never tried aluminum and all I have is a small mig machine with flux wire in it.

Anyone on here in Summerville that can do it?

Steel'n didn't you say you're working in Summeville?

These are four small support welds on a golf cart.

If you have facepage, look up Two Rivers Design and Fab. They're right there in Ladson they should be able to get you taken care of.

What in the world is a "gorilla weld"?

it was defined in another thread a few days ago. It describes my welds perfectly. Ugly as all get out but very strong. With my welding skills I'm sure I'd burn that aluminum slap up and wouldn't have any support left.

Im friends with a guy that works there. I took my dump trailer there a few years ago when I tore it up. They are good people. Cant vouch for the aluminum welding but they fixed my steel trailer.

preciate it BD...they said they could weld it. Like I said, this is under the body, never to be seen. Hell, I didn't even know the welds were busted until I put a clays basket on my golf cart. The back side of the basket mounts to these supports through the body. When I hit the road, the clays basket was bouncing with at least 2-3" of travel up and down...I was like, what the hell. Upon further inspection, I found the busted welds. They've probably been busted for years but I need them fixed now to support the basket.

I had an aluminum welder tell me that he wouldn't put a floor in my jon boat or mount a gun box in, only rivet it in, as to not screw with the structural integrity of the boat. Just doesn't seem right to have rivets in an all welded boat, but ill be damned if I didnt look and War eagle actually has the low deck riveted.

Depending on what it is and you dont mind driving 45 min, i have the # of a couple of guys around the oburg area. guy did a hell of a job welding my weathergard tool box back together after a tree fell on it

15 minutes from the time I told them what I wanted them to do...pulled the cart off the trailer and by the time I could get my truck out of the way in the parking lot, walked in to take a seat, they were telling me it was done. Looks a hell of a lot better than what I would have done. Good people and a fair/honest price.
