    Default 2017 in photos

This year started with Michael Wesley Boozer Jr being born Feb 22, 7 weeks early at 2 lbs 15 oz. A 30 day stay in the NICU, he made it home and has progressed perfectly. Again, my wife is an absolute rock star.

I somehow didn't get as many "scenic" pics as I normally do. MKW handles my floral pics for me, because we can't seem to get anything else to hold still for a picture. This season was as fun as this post makes it look.

Nicely done sir! Just sitting here waiting on Spring 18!

Well, Mr. Boozer, that will do. That will do quite nicely.

If you are a serious turkey hunter and have ever considered heading to the mountains of Mexico to pursue the Goulds, do not hesitate. It is an experience that you should not deny yourself. The country is gorgeous, the people are fantastic, and the turkeys will traverse terrain that would make a mountain goat blush.

On the first morning of our hunt I heard the most gobbles that I have ever heard in a morning in my life. I walked 4.7 miles that morning, climbed 165 flights of stairs (according to apple), had two gobblers in range 5 different times and never pulled the trigger.

We also drank the ranch out of beer
