Default Granpa McCoy - Walter Brennan

I know most of you young'uns don't remember the Real McCoys but I never missed an episode. I like Walter Brennan (Grandpa McCoy) he was a good actor and he also had a long career but he's been dead since 1974. The real McCoys was a funny show with a lot of moral lessons.

He also did a lot of song/talk records:

    Talk With The Lord

    Mama Sang A Song

    Conversation With a Mule

    Old Rivers

    Old Shep

    Tribute To A Dog

"I here repeat, & would willingly proclaim, my unmitigated hatred to Yankee rule—to all political, social and business connections with Yankees, & to the perfidious, malignant, & vile Yankee race."

Walter Brennan also was in a show named "The Guns of Will Sonnet" in which he traveled with his grown grandson in search of the gunslinger that shot his son, the grandson's dad. Walter is good with guns, but the grandson is fast beyond belief. Walter use to tell the bad guys his grandson was the fastest that ever lived, then he would add, "No brag, just fact."

My dad and I never missed that show.
