Depends on what type of accommodations your looking for. You wanting to camp or you want a bed and a hot shower?

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

I know some people that have stayed at the little round houses at the state Park. I have never been to them, but haven't heard anything bad about them either. Maybe someone will chime in about them shortly.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is,
as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Good luck renting one of them this time of year. Think they only by the week

Not much available, other than what has been said. You might try VRBO and find a house, but there are not any marinas with hotels near by.
It is 70 miles from charleston harbor to Wyboo in lake marion. About 40ish miles from harbor to locks, so you can experience locks and go back to charleston ..easily done in a day.
I really enjoy good boat trips...
If you are looking for ideas... Charleston to Georgetown is a good one. G-town Marina has Hampton inn. Also take boat to front street for dinner & drinks
Yep! I wouldn't venture much up past the sunken sand bar though. Unless you just like looking at stumps. That makes it very doable in a turnaround trip. I go from the tailrace to Capers, spend several hours on the beach and return regularly in the summer. If anyone in the part is or was military, check out Short Stay.

North Shore condos rent plenty.
Now that Fish closed, not much for dockside food.
Hill's (canal) Mill Creek, Polly's, The Hole (stumphole) Jack's, and Pack's - that about sums up your lakeside food.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
Fayz at mouth of Wyboo dock side.
Either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.
We went from Marion to Gilligans for lunch. Holy crap the boats in diversion canal....never seen that many before. I idled as much as I could, but damn if I am idling the whole canal. If you fish in a highway, you have to expect to have some waves

Imagine how long it would take to navigate it if you were bound by law to be at idle speed when within 100' from everything under the sun.

I ran 52 MPH through the canal to get bait Friday. Smiled the whole way.
