    Default Bass Clubs for Kids

My son is a fanatic. I fishes more than I do if that is possible. He is 8 years old and he wants to start "getting serious". I know schools have some club teams and such but is there anything for his age?

There's a bunch of high schools doing it. My kids are homeschooled, but I have all intentions to start some kind of fishing team for home schoolers once my boys are older! Good luck in your search.

Oh yea.. My oldest boy is 3, and I would put money down that he could out fish many grown men with his zebco 33 combo!

Ah... something else to consider is getting a kayak, very popular nowadays. Plenty of clubs around and there is one called the Midlands Kayak Fishing club. Great people, I use to fish with them.

I would suggest a kayak for him to enjoy.

Check with you local parks and rec department. I know there is a kids bass club up here and they go to different ponds on Saturday mornings to fish.
