Looking at the numbers, yesterday was truly unreal.

    Hmmmm.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

Blue marlin bite has been out of this world this year, but it seems to come at the cost of a dismal dolphin bite. Can't remember this many poor dolphin reports in mid-may.

Dolphin bite has been hit and miss, especially out of Georgetown as a lot of boats have not went far enough to reach the edge. Green water has been from the GTH half way to BR. Looks like this gyre that's started up now is gonna change that though

You would be incorrect. You really think this year has the marks of past years? Come on man, it's mid may. It should be gangbusters right now for EVERYONE...

Every googan that makes the trip out to bluewater thinks you can throw a hook in the water and load the boat with "Mahi". Just like shooting ducks...there are good days and bad days. And you have to be in the right spot in order to have sucess

Of course. That's fishing 101. My claim is that there are more bad days this year than previous years even for the charter fleet. And mid-may is when even the "googans" are catching fish. Those googans are not catching fish THIS YEAR. I'm not saying that there aren't great days, but when Hammond releases his data after this season, you will see how things look on a broader scale in SC. Last year was one of the shortest dolphin runs (on a grand scale).

The dolphin bite has been shit. From Savannah to Murrell's Inlet.
Anybody that says otherwise, doesn't fish or hasn't fished long enough.
I would assumed Marsh Chick fits in the latter.

Everything is cyclical. Green, dingy water where there should be blue - they'll be back.

It sounds like you suck at finding the fish. I caught 22 on my last trip fun fishing.

Don believes our fish are being decimated on the opposite side of the Sargassum sea... if we are at 7 o'clock they're at 3. Mostly Asian longliners (Korean actually) per his data. And it's the Wild West 1500 miles in the middle Atlantic. You think enforcement of commercial fishing is bad in the US or ICAT... the chinks will kill all our dolphin and then move on..

Wager as to how many fish stickers on Bog's truck?
I'm guessing there's a CCA redfish and some sort of billfish. So two total... maybe more.
