How the fuck is a hunter supposed to keep that monstrosity of a paper with them???? I don't carry a friggin man purse with me deer hunting like those Yankees do on TV. I roll out with loafers, khakis, a camo shirt, face mask, deuce deuce, and woodmaster. My jaw hit the floor when I opened up the envelope. That hellacious 8 & 1/2" by 14" tag sheet unrolled like a gosh darn Egyptian scroll!!!! Aint no way in hell that will fold up in my wallet.

He will not sign. Governors get let time lapse on wildlife bills and they become law.

Does each property have to have a list of people attached to it like it is done now or is it a general broad this property is registered?

I think the governor has 10 days to veto a bill or it becomes law. Most new wildlife laws are effective July 1st. This gives DNR time to add to regs before printing.

As with all bills the governor can sign, let it clock in with our his signature, or veto.

As per our conversation an the conversation I had with DNR this is gonna be a cluster mess.

I'll continue my normal route of picking up the phone an politely asking for a permit.

I see where a lot of people are about to get in big time trouble. This is a recipient for tickets!

Curious. Was there ever a DNR statement of position on this bill?

No night hunting for hogs or coyotes unless the property is registered is the way I read it. Then you can use whatever, whenever. No hog or coyote hunting at night if the property is not registered regardless of weapon.

This sounds like the current laws that are in place- with the exception of removing the stupid caliber restrictions and elevation requirements. Having the property registered (and it's hunters) currently takes about 5 minutes online and you wait 48 hrs for approval. It's so simple. This is great news for our state.
