    Default Dryer problems

Got a three year old dryer that the motor is turning but no heat is coming out. The heating element is $115 and I don't know if it's that or the thermostat. I think there is also a thermal fuse as well that can interfere also. It is a maytag bravos xl, anyone have any experience messing with these? Thanks,

    Sean

Pull it apart and check the resistance on the heating element. They are easy to work on with Youtube, screwdriver and a multi-meter. Remember to unplug it 1st.
Honey...I'll do it after the season is over.

I'm betting it's the thermal overload "button" has blown. It's easy to check and usually blows for a reason. Check you vent line from the dryer all the way out, especially look for a bird's nest in the outlet.

I've had to hook up a leaf blower and shoot a birds nest along with a half-bucket of dryer lint in the neighbor's yard.
